My name is Andrew Woodward HND (dist) Agr. MRAC. I started Country Company Ltd in November 2003, after running a country estate for 21 years. My father was a builder, and the family farmed then, and today; as a result I have been involved in building and working with the all aspects of the countryside since I was knee high. I have wide experience in maintenance and refurbishment of new and older properties, and commercial buildings. My education at the Royal Agricultural College gave me an excellent understanding of the needs of the modern countryside, it’s plants and trees, rocks and soils; and how to achieve and enhance value and appearance through forestry, hedge and pond creation and management, and hard landscaping. Specialist skills and extra labour are brought to projects as required, from my pool of skilled labour. Country Company takes on projects large and small, domestic, and commercial; but I always pride myself in ensuring a good job is done to your satisfaction. I try to recycle where possible, to save the environment, and customer’s pocket, please do not be offended if I ask to retain bags for re-use, or offer perfectly good pre-used timber and other materials for areas which cannot readily be seen; - it is one of the little things we can do to help the environment, and it may save cost, subject to availability. I have grown and sold Christmas trees and associated products for over twenty years, and am well known for providing excellent trees.
